AMVETS POST #9                     THRU SEPT (MONDAYS ALL SUMMER) 
AMVETS POST #9 WASILLA INVITES EVERYONE WHO WOULD CARE TO JOIN THEM AT MAIN STREET AND THE PARKS HIGHWAY EVERY MONDAY FROM 4:30-6 P.M. TO A SALUTE THE TROOPS RALLY. WE WILL HAVE FLAGS TO WAVE AND SIGNS SHOWING OUR RESPECT AND OUR SALUTE FOR OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM BOTH HERE AT HOME AND AWAY. THESE RALLY’S WILL HAPPEN EACH MONDAY THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER. AYUSA International
AYUSA is a non-profit youth exchange organization, is seeking families in our area who are interested in hosting A international student.  AYUSA students will arrive in the Palmer Wasilla area at the end of August, equipped with medical insurance, spending money, a firm command of English and a strong commitment to becoming a member of our community.  Host families are asked to provide a warm, loving home, meals and sleeping quarters, either shared or private.  Students pay for all personal expenses while on program.
